As reported by Crypto News Flash earlier this week, the manual claiming of remaining testnet rewards concluded, alongside a final snapshot of all activities as of June 23. The VeBetterDAO testnet paused in anticipation of the official VeChainThor (VTHO) mainnet launch on June 28. On this day, holders of testnet tokens B3TR, VOT3, and GM NFT witnessed their balances transitioning to the mainnet.
According to recent updates, the token is now supported on bridge.vet, swap.vechain.energy, and VTHO.exchange, offering cross-chain functionality, Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) with VTHO generation, or straightforward token swaps – accommodating user preferences across all tokens.
From June 28 to June 30, users could swap mainnet B3TR for VOT3 in preparation for the initial voting round on July 1. Project owners and voters are set to receive their initial rewards by July 8. Post-launch, new features like the dApp listing validator mechanism will be gradually introduced.
VeChain also announced festivities surrounding the launch, including a Gleam campaign featuring $VET branded Tangem wallets and UFC tickets as prizes.
With the mainnet launch and the upcoming HiVe Summit, VeChain’s VET has recorded a 2.2% surge, trading at $0.02671, thereby extending its weekly gains by 3%. Ranked 49th in the market, the token holds a $2.1 billion market cap. Its counterpart, VTHO, saw marginal gains below 1%, trading at $0.002439. Investors anticipate the mainnet launch to bolster these coins’ prices, eyeing breakthroughs past key resistance levels.
