In a bid to enhance blockchain functionality and promote community involvement, Cardano has unveiled the latest version of Ogmios v6.4.0, despite a slight dip in ADA’s price.
The release of Cardano Ogmios v6.4.0 underscores the platform’s dedication to expanding blockchain capabilities and encouraging community engagement. This comes on the heels of an update from CNF about Cardano’s Project Catalyst and the launch of Fund 11, which sets aside 50 million ADA for community-led initiatives.
Announced through an official tweet by Cardano Updates and detailed on the GitHub page of Cardano Solutions, the new release showcases Cardano’s commitment to improving the functionality and user experience of its blockchain tools.
Ogmios v6.4.0 serves as a lightweight bridge interface for the cardano-node, bringing significant enhancements to blockchain interactions. It boasts fully integrated compatibility with cardano-node==8.11.0-pre, tested across various network setups like Mainnet, Preprod, Preview, and SanchoNet.
With the addition of new error types like UnauthorizedGovernanceAction (code=3165) and InvalidGenesis (code=2004), along with updates to APIs and Docker support, the update ensures seamless integration and improved user experience.
Despite these strides, Cardano (ADA) is currently priced at $0.4597, experiencing a 0.22% decrease in the past day but showing a 2.36% increase over the week. This minor decline comes amidst market fluctuations and ongoing developments within the Cardano network.
