Cardano’s latest weekly report provides an exciting update on various aspects of the ecosystem. The report reveals that there have been a total of 169 projects and 1397 project buildings launched within the week. Additionally, there have been 90 million transactions processed, resulting in the recording of 9.96 million native tokens and the addition of 117,275 token policies.
The site reliability engineering (SRE) team has conducted significant maintenance work on the overall ecosystem. This includes the deployment of Cardano node v.8.9.2 to mainnet, pre-production, preview, and shelley-qa environments. The team has also focused on querying big ledger peers.
Furthermore, the consensus team has reviewed the first draft of the Peras innovation report and has been working on implementing VRF restriction based on slot distance. In terms of wallets and services, the Lace team has been diligently working on updates for Lace v.1.11. The Mithril team, on the other hand, has prepared a new pre-release distribution 2418.1-pre, which includes CPU support for pre-built binaries to address memory fragmentation concerns.
The Mithril team has also been working on certifying Cardano transactions in Mithril networks and scaling signature and proof generation for mainnet. They have achieved this by utilizing the compression of the transaction Merkle tree using sub-Merkle trees based on transaction block ranges during signature and proving. Additionally, the team has implemented a stream mechanism for importing transactions into the signer and aggregator stores.
There have been further updates from the Mithril team, Catalyst, and Education team. The Mithril team has initiated the implementation of the global Mithril networks configuration file and investigated error logs on the Cardano node. The Catalyst team has overseen the progress of Fund12 in Barcelona, which has now entered the submission phase. The Education team has started working on the curriculum for the DRep Pioneer program and has participated in Builder Fest and the Catalyst Fund12 launch.
